Current Professional Pursuits
I am in year 5, DipArch at GSA and I am focused on creating client friendly, environmentally and heritage conscious design decisions.  I am currently looking for an architectural assistant position, via studio or remote working from Glasgow.
Depth of previous experience fabricated solid grounding in technical rigour with team and client focused dynamic. My academic work is engrained in detailed research, developing rapidly through passion for design.  I can offer full time work from May to deeply understand your working methods and get to know the team before returning to university and continuing part time. We are in a time of great uncertainty, I myself have had to expand my profession into specialised antique restoration which also paused due to restrictions. I am excited to bring this rare skill set back into an architectural setting.

Currently I have been the youngest acting board member of the Architecture Heritage Society Scotland (AHSS) for three years. The society consists of a team of chartered architects along with surveyors and urban planners, and myself.
I am the Glasgow lead for Design, Engineer, Construct! which consists of running eco classroom workshops with local schools with an agenda to promote and encourage young people into the industry and provide an understanding of the different industry roles and how they collaborate.
·  Part 1 Architectural Assistant at Keppie Design and HAUS Collective.
-Part time Antique Furniture Restoration alongside Master craftsmen.
·  Active board member of the Architecture Heritage Society Scotland- Strathclyde group.

My architectural ethos relates to the belief that the best designs are the most translucent to their site and its users. Through diligent attention to detail and understanding of function, form and the art of good design, architectural magic is created. By utilising the co-dependent qualities of technology and creativity, I believe the designer can manipulate the emotive qualities of a space, allowing the user full enjoyment of the space without revelation of the magic. Each project should be predominantly understood and designed under its independent social needs and environmental demands. To achieve this the creative process has to be resolved in a graphical manner using tools such as info graphics that allow clear understanding for the client.
I gained first prize in the Atkins Global, 24-hour University Collaborative Competition “Making Places”. I utilised my strong conceptual skills to sketch and sculpt a design process for ‘a leap frog homeless centre with emergency accommodation and learning for growth and a community development centre’ behind Ashton Lane.  This project illustrated my comfort within a team dynamic and understanding for the need of symbiotic relationships within a creative environment. I am also keenly aware of the need for me as an individual in a larger team to successfully complete my tasks to a set deadline. I thrive under academic push and enjoy the buzz of a deadline in the company environment.
I am proficient with key software such as: Revit; AutoCADArchitecture; Solid Works; Word; Excel; PowerPoint ;SketchupPro; V-Ray; Lumion and an extensive range of Adobe Suite. I continue to develop my expertise in Formit and BIM, in preparation for cross-sector collaboration projects.
